1.12.010 Adopted.
Any person violating any of the provisions or failing to comply with any of the mandatory requirements of the resolutions or ordinances of Kitsap County is guilty of a misdemeanor. Any person convicted of a misdemeanor under the resolutions or ordinances of Kitsap County shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars, and/or by imprisonment not to exceed ninety days, unless otherwise required by the laws of Washington. Each such person is guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of any provision of the resolutions or ordinances of Kitsap County is committed, continued or permitted by any such person, and he or she shall be punished accordingly.
Where conflicts occur between the general penalty provisions of this section and any specific penalty provision of other Kitsap County resolutions or ordinances, the more specific penalty provisions shall apply.

1.12.020 Principal defined.
Every person concerned in the commission of a misdemeanor, whether he or she directly commits the act constituting the offense, or aids or abets in its commission, and whether present or absent; and every person who directly or indirectly counsels, encourages, hires, commands, induces or otherwise procures another to commit a misdemeanor, is a principal, and shall be proceeded against and punished as such. The fact that the person aided, abetted, counseled, encouraged, hired, commanded, induced or procured, could not or did not entertain a criminal intent, shall not be a defense to any person aiding, abetting, counseling, encouraging, hiring, commanding, inducing or procuring him or her.
