Additional regulatory requirements are placed on projects that are within or near critical areas, pursuant to Title 19 KCC. Such areas include streams, wetlands, frequently flooded areas, critical aquifer recharge areas and geologically hazardous areas. Depending upon the type of critical area, additional requirements or limitations regarding stormwater management may apply.
