9.16.010 Disposal rates for recycling and garbage facilities.
The fees for disposal at county-owned recycling and garbage and facilities will be established through resolution by the board of county commissioners and may be adjusted from time to time as reasonably necessary. The fees established are intended to cover the costs of collection, recycling, and disposal, and to fund programs supporting solid waste system operations identified in the Kitsap County Comprehensive Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Plan.
The current fee schedule is available from the Kitsap County public works solid waste division and at each recycling and garbage facility.

9.16.015 Disposal rates for the Olympic View Transfer Station.
(a) The fees for disposal at the Olympic View Transfer Station will be established through resolution by the board of county commissioners and may be adjusted from time to time as reasonably necessary, including as needed under KC 479-00, the Kitsap County Transfer Station Service Agreement. The fees established are intended to cover the costs of operations required under the Transfer Station Service Agreement, as well as solid and hazardous waste programs conducted by the Kitsap County public works solid waste division and the Kitsap public health district as identified in the Kitsap County Comprehensive Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Plan.
The current rate schedule is available from the Kitsap County public works department, solid waste division and the Olympic View Transfer Station scale house.
(b) Nothing herein prevents those who contract for disposal at the Olympic View Transfer Station from having rates different than those established by resolution.
